Overview:
A very unique and well finished car that has been in our family for 21 years! One of the nicest ‘fast road’ B’s that I have ever driven, thank’s to a torquey motor, sharp overdrive and fantastic exhaust note. The ’Sebring’ body with de-seaming and frenching work plus stunning paint finish makes it stand out from the crowd at any event.
Exterior:
The bodywork alterations were carried out by MG Mecca in 1994.
Re-painted in Nightfire Red (including windscreen frame)
Sebring style front and rear conversion
De-bumpered front and rear
Totally de-seamed including front scuttle panel and rear wings
Frenched in indicators
De-chromed front and rear lights with body coloured door mirrors
New mo-hair hood and hood frame in 2011 (as new)
Engine & Transmission:
The odometer shows 87,200 miles which looks to be original and inline with the MOT history
1800 B-Series stroked to 1950cc on 45 DCOE’s with K&N air filter. Unsure of the cam and head, but likely stage 2 head and a mild cam, perfect for road use as it’s nice and torquey.
